A Money Market ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund) is an investment fund that primarily invests in highly liquid, short-term financial instruments known as money market instruments. These instruments include Treasury Bills, Commercial Paper, Certificates of Deposit, and other short-term debt that typically have a maturity of less than one year. The main goal of a Money Market ETF is to provide investors with a safe harbor to park cash or to invest in a product that aims to return a yield better than a regular savings account, while maintaining a low-risk profile These types of ETFs are ideal for conservative investors looking for a stable place to maintain their investment while earning a small return. They can also be useful as a short-term holding place for cash when the market is highly volatile, or as a way to maintain liquidity while remaining invested in the market.

EDES Islamic ETF

An Islamic Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) is a type of investment fund that complies with the principles of Islamic law, or Shariah. Unlike traditional ETFs, Islamic ETFs only include stocks from companies that abide by a series of ethical guidelines known as the Shariah-compliant criteria. These criteria prohibit investment in certain industries like alcohol, tobacco, gambling, pork, and those heavily leveraged with debt (as paying or receiving interest, known as 'riba', is not permissible under Islamic law). Also, the operations and business practices of the companies must adhere to fair and ethical standard Therefore, Islamic ETFs allow investors to grow their wealth in a way that aligns with their religious beliefs and ethical standards, while also participating in the broader financial markets. Please note that even though Islamic ETFs are designed for Muslim investors, they are open to all investors who might be interested in ethical or socially responsible investing.
